Here's a picture of my collection of STR modified knives. On the left is an Orange Rescue that I won on the Spyderco Forums from STR.(thanks again Steve!) On the right is a grooved titanium Jess Horn with a Spyderco Walker G11/titanium framelock conversion below it. Down the middle is a Manix titanium, a Calypso Jr. ZDP in titanium, another Calypso Jr. ZDP in Ivory Micarta, a Mouse in titanium (previous owner did the divots), a Mini Manix in titanium and a Green Canvas Micarta Spyderco Ocelot

That has to be some kind of a record! How do you carry all of those on you? :D

I am a bit humbled that I have such a loyal fan. I really didn't know you had so many until you mentioned it. I recognize a few of those I did for others. Looks like you have been shopping some. Some nice scores there too.

Cargo pants with suspenders is the ticket; that way I have someplace to clip or pocket them all - seriously I only carry two at a time. And actually five I've bought directly from you of which two you were just selling while the others I asked you to customize; three were from individuals and the Rescue was won on the Spyderco Forums (from you). I am just a big fan of your excellent work. :)

I see that. It makes me feel very good that you are the one that won that knife on the Spyderco forum give away. I would say it went to the right person for sure. You certainly deserved a free one. Nice collection of some fine knives. Dan did a great job pimping that little Mouse huh? Looks pretty good from here.

So you're the guy the guy that got my mouse. Still miss that little guy ! Had Steve do that for my son but he got a bigger knife and wanted the money for it. Nice collection ! One of my fave edc is a Schrade Walker in BG42 STR converted to a framelock.

I can answer that. Yep. I have only done that one in green canvas and another for a gentleman that saw that one and wanted it done to his and his was black canvas. Both are complete take apart knives now. The green one is the one I used to help my neighbor skin a deer out and between both of us using it it got so crammed full of blood and guts among other things in those paw prints in the original G10 scales that I had to take it apart to clean it thoroughly. Until doing that I could not get the stink off it.
Its also one I never should have sold but hey, I can say that about a lot of knives I have owned and let go.

I don't know but here's a comparison shot for ya; looks to be a tad thinner than stock. Derek

Thanks for the info, guys. And I appreciate that comparison shot, Derek.

It really is a marvelous improvement over the old frn scales. I would personally prefer a little more weight added to the jess horn. The stock ones just aren't solid feeling enough for my liking.

Great work on that one, Steve. I think it every time I see a picture of it.
