my summer chasing mini hatchets

Collected all of these this summer, I don't think I paid over $20.00 for any single one. It was fun chasing something different, the garage is full of axes and hatchets already.

That’s awesome man! I also like the minis. I have even found some of the “Candy axes”. For brittle and taffy. So what were your parameters for a mini? Less than a pound? 10oz or less? I’d like to see more pictures of them individually. Or two or three at a time. Thanks for posting!!

I can only smile.... when I contracted this illness we share I was only interested in single bit, full size axes. I actually cringe at the memory of a couple of boys axes and hatchets that I let get away. As time passed and the single bits piled up I started noticing boy's axes. Piled them up a while and now always on the lookout for hatchets. I still buy anything sharp that is a good deal or that fits an unfilled slot in my empty head. Enjoyed seeing your pics.

My new obsession also. Picked up a nice craftsman mini with sheath at an estate sale for $6. I didn't want it to get lonely so I had to pick up another on Ebay. Keep the pics coming, maybe I'll figure out how to get a pic on here.

Wow, man. How the heck did you find that many minis for cheap? I don't believe half that many mini hatchets exist within 100 miles of where I live.

just going to the local flea markets we have a couple good ones that are local and every sunday
