is forthcoming.
I like to carry a new knife at least a week to get a feel for it before I formulate an opinion of it. However, I do have some good first impressions of the Super Commander. This is what I emailed Al (Kwaiken56) early this morning:
"I rec'd my SC Monday morning. The blade is VERY sharp, and perfectly centered. The fit and finish are fine. Overall QC is fine. I took it apart tonight, cleaned & lubed it. I'm still getting used to the SC. It takes me a week or two to really know how I feel about a new knife. In a week or so, I'll probably post my impressions of it on BFC.
Since it's thinner and (a lot) lighter than my AR, it's easier to carry in pocket. The satin finished blade looks quite a bit less deadly to your average Joe than my AR. My AR is still my favorite folder by far, but I'm happy with the SC. I'm even learning to wave."
If the QC of my Super Commander is representative of current production Emersons, I don't see what some people are complaining about. It's a USER, right? BTW, calling it a user is NOT a cut...
