Just got this back, and had to snap a couple pics. I tried my hand at cord wrapping, it felt okay but looked bad and didn't do this awesome little knife justice. So I turned to the guy who makes some of the best knife grips I've ever handled, Nick Allen. He was kind enough to put some of his amazing scales on my Izula, make one of his kick ass sheaths for it and clean it up. It came out so good, I almost don't want to use it now. But I will :D

Feels great in hand for sure, I love the way it came out. Made a special knife even more special! Thanks again Jeff, and thanks Nick for kicking it up a notch.

I'm headed to the Sequoias next week and this little guy will ride on my shoulder strap.

I'm just F'n with ya, it looks amazing. I considered doing something similar but I liked it too much as a necker and didn't want to make it too heavy to be comfortable.

What would be really cool would be to replace the rivets with screws so you could remove the scales when you wanted and have both options, a necker or a sheath knife. It looks great both ways. There has been times when I wish I had scales on a skeletonized knife.
