Lately I've gotten into leatherworking as a hobby, so have attempted to make a few sheaths for knives and tools. This is my attempt at a Swick sheath. I've always loved the Perrin-inspired fixed blades, and the Swick is no exception. As soon as I found out there was a sprint of them, I jumped on it. Here is my effort. I'm learning a bit more with each new project and hope to really refine my craft over time. I hope you guys enjoy my pics. Also, I feel the kydex sheaths are a bit soulless by comparison, even if I do appreciate their functionality. :D

Job well done! How is the fit and draw?

It fits quite well. I made the loops large enough to accommodate my widest belt. I made it to ride high and close to the body. I keep it at right-hand "kidney carry" at present.

The draw is very smooth and there is a subtle "click" as the knife is re-sheathed into the molded leather. Due to the molding and the tautness of the sheath, there's also no danger of the knife falling out, even if I'm suspended inverted for some reason.
