Hows it going guys, I wanted to share a review I did on the Blackwater Ursa 6. LionSteel did an amazing job with this knife and I thought you guys might enjoy taking a closer look and seeing how it performs (about half the video is me cutting stuff so please excuse the length). At any rate, I hope you enjoy the review.

I did a full writeup as well (with pictures). That can be found here:

I've been looking for this model (which is identical to the new 'DPX Razor', but the Ursa 6 is black), Blackwater URSA 6 is mostly out off stock every where now.
Re: your issue with the Jimping.... they are actually designed to be wire strippers (each one is a different size for different gauge wire) that's why it's abrasive on your thumb.

Great review, thanks.
Now if I can just find one.

Blackwater URSA 6 and DPx HEFT 6 Razorback are identical except for PVD coating all over for the BW and just cordura sheath vs. stonewashed blade for Razor and either cordura or kydex sheath.

Blackwater folded their knife business which towards the end was really variations on RYP knives made by LionSteel.

I'm glad I got a few Blackwater knives over a year ago: URSA 6, SPECWAR 4 and Aculus.

Greetings Ramzar, thanks for letting me know what happened with B.Water., thought something like that probably went down.
Yea, I can only find an 'URSA 6' on one site, which I have purchased from before and the dealer is very professional, a pleasure to do business with.
But it's like 170.00, that's if it's still in stock.
Seems this was a 2012 release, most likely all gone by now.
Found a few old auctions on Ebay in a search, but they were from Jan./Dec. 2014, long over.

I like knifes made in Italy, I own three all made in Maniago and they're made well, all are N690Co, not familiar with the URSA 6's 'Niolox'.
I like the design of the URSA 6, serrations on top and has lashing holes.

Thanks for letting me know what happened with them, I was wondering.

I'm sure we can forget about finding an old stock 'Blackwater URSA 6", I've done quite a bit of searching over the last few days.
But DXp Hest's 'Razorback' is the same knife, just not coated black.
Unfortunately DPx Hest are the only ones selling it and have no immediate plans to send them out to dealers.
For me, the current MSRP is rather high for the Razorback, eventually I'm sure the price will come down.

About the closest is the DPx HEFT 6 Assault Fixed 6" Black Sleipner Combo Blade, Black G10 Handles, Cordura Sheath for $170. It just doesn't have the top serrations and extra holes to make it a spear but it's a lot less than Razorback's $250. Razorback is Niolox stainless too steel. With the Razorback I'd order it with the kydex sheath.

A while ago a lot of retailers is offering the Ursa 6 for around USD120-130 (stock clearance maybe?), which is an absolute steal, imho. I think the HEFT6 is of a thinner stock though. HEFT6 Assault is almost identical to the Grizzly. The new kydex sheath is cool though. Hope it is available by seperately.
