Wanted a setup so that I would be able to snatch out a hideout while seated in the driver's seat of my truck, and thought the TDI LDK might be worth looking into. Nice little toy. I work in a bad part of town and am frequently stopped at lights or train tracks. Not looking to get pulled out of my car.

Got some craft store velcro and went to work.

Velcro holds it to the side of my driver's seat, between the seat and center column. The blade itself is slightly loose in the sheath, otherwise the sheath would come away too, but the velcro keeps it all in place unless grabbed.

That is a great place to put it. I will have to go do something like that with my BK-14 that I keep in the car. Or just get a TDI LDK as it seems to work perfect there. Thanks for the idea!

Good idea, man. I think I'd want one of the full-size TDIs to hand, though. How you liking that little one?

It's perfect for what it is... a nasty, lethal little sliver of steel designed to be a last-ditch defensive weapon. Hope I never find out if it's effective...

Looks like a great spot for that. It could still be pulled and attached to a pack, too.

I've never actually seen a size reference on those and always thought they were larger. Thanks for the post!

I agree. In your application, one of the larger TDI knives would fit just as well, and doubtless be much more effective if you ever needed to actually use it.
