We are a #2 seed and play Arizona on Thursday, and if we win that game, we will most likely play Illinois who has only one loss. My team beat another one loss team last year to go to the Final Four: St. Joes. Go Oklahoma State!

Shall we make a friendly bet on this game? :D

Time's running out, Planterz. I'll put up a lightly used, really nice SOG Trident against a knife of equal value.

I can wager your choice of a LM Wave (old version) or V'Nox Cybertool 41. Both are used, but in good condition.

Planterz...I should have mentioned that this is the black micarta bowie (new price $200+). Do you want to beef up your bet or should I scale back mine? Both your offerings are very, very nice, but since the spread is damn near even, I was looking for more of a monetarily equivalent wager.

Ahhh. I looked up the SOG Trident and came up with a folder. Weird that they'd name two products with the same name.

I can't really match that kind of bet, after all I'm just a starving student. At least, not with anything I'd be OK with losing.

Holy jeebus what a game. That's like the millionth time Stoudamire pulled last second shot out of his ass to win the game. Damn, that boy's good.

Next game's gonna be real tough, against Illinois. I'm glad Washington got beat though. U of A seems to have some trouble with them.

Sorry for the late reply, Planterz. Yes...the game was indeed a classic. Last year, John Lucas hit a shot just like the one he took at the very end to beat St. Joe's to go to the Final Four...so you just never know.

AZ, ILL., and OK. ST. were all three Final Four caliber teams in what now looks like easily the toughest region. I'm sorry that Illi. came back on you all like that.

BTW...I won't rub in the fact that you could have won a $200 knife! :D

I don't have any use for a fixed blade anyway. ;)

Someone brought a TV into work so I got to watch AZ blow it instead of just listening to it on the radio. Lucky me.

The funny thing is that for days there was nothing but people whining and worring about "next year", and how are we going to be worth anything with out best players gone. Just like they worried about it last year. And the year before that. Like they've done every year for years and years. Funny how they keep making it to the tournament every year, despite having lost all their good players the year before. As long as Lute is coaching, we'll always have good players will want to play for him, and he'll bring out the best in all of them.

As they say, "wait 'til next year". (you can tell I'm a Cubs fan too).

Yeah...it's been a long dry spell for you guys, but you have had some considerable glory in the past 30 years, including the only totally undefeated season in 1976.

Made it to the Championship game of NCAAs in 2002, losing to Maryland.

In the last two years: 49-49.
