My wife and children presented to me today a very special and beautiful Father's Day present, a large Classic Madagascar Rosewood Inlay Sebenza. What I want to share with you is how my wife managed to get this knife. She knows very little about fine knives, but she has heard me talk about CRK and the Sebenza. She managed to get the phone number for CRK and called to see what knife would be make a nice present. What she didn't know was what a Sebenza costs or that she should have called 3-4 months in advance to order a knife direct from CRK!

My wife told me that Chris took her call personally and spend a great deal of time asking questions about the knives I collect and what interests me. He then went on to explain the options available and his recommendation for my new knife. My wife also mentioned that Bridget was very helpful in arranging for the knife and ensuring that the "rush" order was ready and shipped in time for me to have it today. The knife also came with a Father's Day card signed by everyone in the CRK shop! Words just cannot express how impressed we are with the amount of personal service my wife received and how the good people at CRK went out of their way to make this Father's Day special for me. It is very refreshing to have a knifemaker deliver more than what is expected and I give my warm thanks to everyone at CRK!

Very nice! What a thoughtful wife you have, and I'm sure that the great service from CRK sure helped her get over that sticker shock. :)

Love the look of the dark wood with the gold thumb stud accent.
