A really good design, I have to admit it, they didnt call it native for nothing
The really wide big blade delighted my eyes from the first time i opened it, it sure looks big, as the handle has the just a half an inch more, and its not as wide as the blade, being contoured for a good grip, for fingers and palm
Short wide big looking spear point blade, cuts really good and it gives the feeling that it will cut through anything it has to.
The handle, all frn, no liners there, to help reducing weight has a wire clip, attached to it with the good old coin screw , that is the only screw I found on this knife
No special torx, not even allen, no screws at all, except this one, that uses a coin to adjust
Design without liners dont mean that its very flexible, its very robust actually, maybe because its a little more thick frn there
I love the pin construction of knives, just because its more simple , and it doesnt offer that adjusting that you really dont need, doesnt make you run for loctite and for special screwdrivers, doesnt give up on you when you least expect it, either by losing a screw or by loosening , and doesnt have the question mark with to tight to loose the ruined small screw heads that can happen sometimes .
I was glad to see the design like the delicas and enduras of years ago coming back .
The knife is not as flat as a normal spyderco knife, like a delica or endura, it is called native 3D after all, but it aint that beefy so would hurt IWB carry, its just enough to help retain a better grip
Very light, short and easy to carry, looks more powerfull than a normal delica, wich i also enjoy to carry and use
So those are my thoughts after a few days of EDC this little big looking knife
, I like it , and il continue EDC it, and use it with confidence that it will serve me well for its purpose.
