My Thread Isn't bumping to the top

Please read the current Rules for the Exchange forums - Revised again, 11/15 - No more rules on bumping, commentary, please read!!!!

In particular, see the italicized header:
11/15 Update: Based on feedback in the feedback thread, we're trying a new format for the Exchange forums - we're sorting threads by Thread Started time instead of Last Post time. What does this mean? Threads are no longer going to be affected by bumping or replies - threads will still show up in the order that they were created.

If you prefer to sort threads by the time that the last post was made, you can, just select the option at the bottom of each forum screen.

Since we're testing this new ordering format, we're going to temporarily suspend the rules on bumping, posting replies or questions to threads, sellers replying and other similar previously applicable rules.

In addition, the "2 posts on page 1, and 4 on the first 4 pages" rule is going to be temporarily suspended. During this time of testing, you are not allowed to repost the same knife for sale for 2 weeks (14 days) from the time it was originally posted.

Thanks for your patience and support!

This was a bad idea because in my 7 years of the online php bb forum experience I am very used to finding favorite thread$ $orted for me at the tippity-top of the thread list. this new change is giving me extra b.s. work scrolling up and down the page ano out of frustiation I give up so that actually hurt$ the $eller or bumping seller. But ignore my opinion and instead, why not throw up an overlay poll question that appears when users first log in - do you like the new thread sorting feature - ye$, no, doe$ matter - or whatever. thanks!

You may be used to the old way and don't care for the new but something had to be done. When mods are getting reported threads every 5 minutes that fill up several pages a fix was needed and this was it. If scrolling through or clicking on a few pages is causing you frustration then I wish I had your life because you got it easy. The minor inconvenience it causes you is trumped by the major pain in the ass it is for us mods who had to clean up the BS everyday.

This belongs in the feedback thread anyhow.
