I gots to say, I have been getting CRKT catalogs for years. I like their knives (haters, kiss it). I got the 2013 catalog, and had to double check to make sure it was from them, though. WOW! The CRKT team has notched it up a ton this year. No doubt the Ryan Johnson and Ken Onion connections are part of the equation. But this year I had to run out and pick up a couple of these babies asap.

First was the Swindle (grooved handle model, thank you). Got it, and LOVE it! Onion hit this one out of the park! Made me miss my blue Ripple I traded off last year. So off the auction site to pick up one the same. So Happy! Then, couldn't help but find interesting the new Jernigan Persian. Ordered it last. Slick little knife, and beautiful style blade.

Anyone else loving the newest CRKT stuff?

I honestly really like CRKT. I just like their stuff and I seem to swim against the current in saying I don't mind their Autolawks system.

I have the blue Ripple and the Endorser and like them both. Nice knives at a very good price point. Looking at the Eros and the Redemption now. Will probably get the Eros, but not so sure about the Redemption. Not crazy about the blade shape, but it is a Ken Onion design, so that intrigues. Have a second Ripple already on order (bronze).

Let us know what you think of the Swindle after you have had it awhile. :)

Had the Swindle for 3 weeks now. The IKBS is as smooth as ever. Built a lot like the Ripple, but the curved shape is definitely a nice touch, and the blade is shaving sharp out of the box. Not 100% sure about the spring loaded clip. Grabs the pocket perfectly, but it does make the knife sit just a tiny bit out from my side. It's not a massively thick blade, but it's great for any normal task I come across. And it's Purdy!

How's the Endorser? I noticed it was one of the Blade award winners, and it looks decent. Good?

I have my eyes set on a few CRKTs this year myself....back burner though:) I'm very impressed with what they've done his year!

Loved them as a child.

not loving them as an adult though.

However I do want a crkt first strike in satin.

I really like CRKT. Great knives for the price and, IMO, better than some of the other knives that cost more.

I too love the auto lawks. And I like the quality of them. I lost mine in 5ft of snow for over a month. When I found it it only had some surface rust. I left it in some clr and it was fine. It was the M16-14zs

I like it, but there is some good and some bad. The knife is sized very nicely. It fits the pocket much like the Ripple, a bit thicker, but not much. The G10 scales are comfortable and the design fits the hand well. It came razor sharp out of the box and the scales look great with the black blade (also available in satin finish).

Not crazy about the Fire Safe thumb stud. You have to push the thumb stud in and flick at the same time. Not a natural motion for someone with big hands like I have. But once the blade is released, it "pops" nicely into place. Easy to open and close one-handed if you get past the Fire Safe. The torsion rod has already caused some of the black coating to wear off near the choil. No big deal as you can't see it unless the blade is open, but that might be a case for the satin finish instead of black.

Overall it is a nice little "gentlemen's" knife and the price is simply unreal for what you get.

Same! I had a M16 in the spear point version. I lost it working outside in the snow in front of my house during a power outage and lo and behold 6 months later there it is in the dirt. Only real rust issue was the liners. But I cleaned up the blade (left the liners alone) and chit that thing is a workhorse.

My dad is going to like the Natural 2 I just picked up for him with the bone and micarta.

CRKT has been a big part of my journey as a knife nut. They make alot of decent and very cool knives for reasonable prices. I only have one knife of theirs now, a Stockman. That thing never leaves my pocket.

I like some of CRKT's offerings, and like the LAWKS mechanism. I bought a Crawford/Kasper, and a Ryan Seven which are both dirt cheap, and was pleasantly surprised with them considering what they cost. I just recently decided to take a chance and jumped up in price range to get the Loing Mah Eraser. Couldn't be happier with it, a real nice folder. I had higher expectations, and they were exceeded.

Big Fan of CRKT. I have a M21-14SFG, a M16-13SFG, the old durable M60 and I have the FE-7 in my sight. Quality knives at great prices.

Most of their designs don't appeal to me for one reason or another. Maybe its the weird alien-type looking handles or the funky pocketclips, I don't know. I am however looking in to their Shenanigan model in acuto steel. Everything I've read on it so far has been very positive and I think its a handsome knife. Anyone have any feedback on this model that they'd like to share?

Do you find you notice the lack of a thumb stud? I very nearly bought the eraser.

The Ripple is a sweet little knife. A lot of their designs simply don't hook me, but when one does I'm willing to bite. I plan on getting a Shenanigan at some point, too.
