I have been getting very interested in fixed blades lately. I have these three Benchmades to add to my others brands. I like the feel of the Contego but I think the Adamas carries so easily.
Stay safe all, Frank.

Great pic!

Every time I see that Contego fixed blade I want one more and more.

I've been looking at fixed blades myself more and more these days too. I also have my eye on the Benchmade HK Feint. It's a lot larger at 9.5" and just something about plain old classic 440C that I find very appealing. We'll see, so many knives so little cash!

All the best!

While I've no need for a fixed, that Adamas looks very comfortable. What sheath comes with it, or do you carry it with the stock one? That deserves something black and leather bound.

First, thanks for the response people and second, I took the stock rigid sheath that came with it and changed it. I cut up an old iwb holster I had and used the belt clip and the leather around it. I used the screws that came with the mol mount and set the clip so I can carry it concealed or exposed on my belt. I wanted to see if I could wear it in these configurations before I went forward with a custom made or self made sheath. I decided to make a leather for the Contego first with a belt clip I bought from ESEE. It is narrow for the contego but i am thinking I can still use it but will line the sheath or the screws will not mark the knife. Will let you know how this works out but not if I make a mess of it. I have made holsters for my j-frames and a .380 semi-auto so I have some knowledge but I am no expert.
Be safe, Frank.
