Greetings all,

Well I had been admiring these for some time and finally broke down and ordered it. We are moving our offices into a new building soon so I convinced myself that I needed a new knife to cut all that packing tape!

This is just a perfect little gem of a knife. It is very compact but solid feeling. The backspring is firm but not too hard to open, the edge is sharp, the blade is centered and no wiggle anywhere. I am completely happy with it. Here are a couple pictures of it with my new little Kaweco Sport fountain pen (broad nib) that also just arrived in the mail.

Congrats, Danny!

I have one just like it. Great little knife just like you said.

Built like a tank.

Nice pen too.

Revolvergeek,

Nice little knife.
I have been curious to see the edge veiw of this particular knife.
How thin is this knife? (Not the blade, but the handles )
Could you, or someone post an edge pic?
Thanks,
Ray

Ray,

It might be a day or so before I can get a decent one, but I will post one for you. Most of it measures 7/16", and the bolsters curve and taper down to about 3/16" - 7/32". It looks about 2/3 as thick as the diameter of a tube of Chap Stick.

Thanks Railsplitter & Revolvergeek
It's a chubby little fella, isn't it?
I suspect, it's more comfortable in the hand that way.

Actually, I have always considered it a somewhat thin knife but that's just me.

I've got a Northfield Spear bladed version, one of my particular favourites.

You can pinch these open despite a tough spring and yet it's a nice thin knife.

I like that Orange Bone, looks similar to a flat bolster 73 I have. These are really good pocket knives, I recommend getting one if you can, lot of character and quality.
