My time on forged in fire

Watched it a few times, and that looks like a tough time to get things done under the pressure like that for sure, so being the first off out of 4, isn't anything at all, good to be on and giving it your best shot! A lot of knife makers are afraid to even try I think, but even the winners have complained that while people want to get their photo taken with them, they didn't order a knife ;)

The show is a show, but glad to hear that they keep it as real as they can and trimming down all that time to fit the time slot has to be tough, sorry they cut out all your funny stuff, maybe it will show up on the bloopers reel ? :) I bet they could fill up several episodes with bloopers for sure, timed events invariably will have a lot of those I'm sure.

Good to see you post up your thoughts on the show, congrats for going for it, and who knows, they may call you back at some point, they've brought people back before for just such things.

I think that being selected to be on the show is as large of a reward as the money. Maybe that seems odd, but whether you win or lose on the show, there are going to be portions that simply are luck of the draw. Being selected is based on your total skills, not just an oddball task with unknown equipment.
