When I say traditional I'm not thinking of any particular style such as a Nessmuk etc but rather knives made from good old carbon steel with nice real wood handles, the kind of knives your grandfathers might have carried !

Let's see yours !!!

I like em  My ML Kep fast became one of my top favs as soon as I got it. Comfortable no matter what grip, and a great size for carry in the woods. You did really nice on that Culberson blade as well, that handle looks like it fills the hand well.

What's the second from the top in the first pic?

That's a Dave Farmer Camp knife, very appropriately named as it's perfect for everything from food prep to camp fire prep !

My ladyfinger from Andy Roy. Had this one custom made for me a couple years back. It is masur birch over paduk and good ol carbon steel. It has seen quite a bit of work and has been on some great camping and hiking trips.

Good looking knives, Pit. I don't really like many types of wooden handles, however I do like the look of a lot of them. For use, though, I really prefer the synthetics.

Here's the small collection I've acumulated over the years.
This old Rawana is really the only one I have that I would concider custom or collectable.

An old Estwing with a carbon blade that's one of the best pieces of steel I've ever used.

And a couple of Bucks that have served me well over the years.

Times have changed though, and nowdays I get by just fine with this little NorthWoods carbon steel B&T and one of their excellent Indian River Jacks in my pocket.
Both of which, have wood scales that I also prefer.

Great topic.
Thanks for sharing those beauties of yours.
