Yesterday, I made the short drive to Golden to check out the Spyderco Factory Outlet. I wanted to snag a Bushcraft UK in person, so I could pick out handles I liked, but of course, being surrounded by that much gorgeous steel, you know that's not the only thing I left with...

First, the Bushcraft UK pics. I posted these in a couple of other threads around here, but I think they are worth repeating.

Now, the rest of the stuff I got...

And the whole family - not a bad score for one trip, and knowing that it's less than half an hour away, I might end up buying more soon.

Just a little tip if the hole in that bushcraft starts to annoy you filling up with gunk. Just fill it with JB weld. That's what I did on the first two holes of my skeletool cx. They didn't serve any real purpose.

Nice blades BTW. I love my Sage.

Lucky bastid! A trip to Golden SFO. That is my dream vacation. Nice score on the knives.

Just curious what kind of prices do they offer? I will probably stop by there next time I'm up that way. Just wondering if they have any good deals or what the pricing structure is like.

I haven't looked closely enough to compare the prices to online shopping - they were less than MSRP, but so is every online retailer. They seemed about typical prices to me - the main benefit was being able to handle so many different models in one place.

Like a kid in the candy store I'm sure! :)

They do 25% off MSRP. Sometimes they have additional discounts on select models. Plus, if you go over a certain amount you get something free. Last month they were giving away a white Endura with a $150 purchase. I think now they are giving away the etched Cricket. It varies, but it's always a good deal.:)

Actually, it was an etched Spin - the one in the pictures above was my freebie. I was afraid my fiance was gonna steal it, like she did my bug, so I was tempted to buy an extra one in addition to the freebie. :p

My Bushcraft is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the SFO. A great place and people that I miss dearly.
