Been pretty busy with orders, things are starting to work well for me in terms of orders, already have a one year waiting list!
This one is a hairpin knife for an outdoor enthusiast. She wanted her belt free so she asked me to make her a knife that could be hidden in her hair. Was an immense challenge but I think it turned out pretty good.
Wood: African blackwood
Steel: D2

These bad boys kept me busy most of the year. It is my first order in the XXXX$ so I was kinda stressed about it since these knives were for a well-known chef in my area. All knives have a tapered tang and have filework from the tip to all around the handle. Handles are tailor made to the client hand's size. The customer also wanted a box to put his knives inside. Since he is a fan of cedar, I made it out of cedar! Had to make my own stain to get that nice brown color and had to learn how to lacquer and how to polish it. The inside of the box is made of molded impact resistant foam with space left so the client can add accessories/sharpening stone over time.
Steel: 440C mirror polished
Bolsters: 304 SS mirror polished
Handle material: Stabilized indian rosewood
Box material: Cedar and brass
