So sometime back I mentioned in a couple threads that KAI was doing a 50% discount to military member on their Kershaw and Zero Tolerance brands.
This is now untrue... as they've discontinued the service as it was pissing dealers off.
Well... I emailed them before I found this out and wanted to order the 0150, boot knife/dagger in S30V PVD coated blade. Blade length is 3 5/8" and the handle is a nicely-finished G10 which is smooth around the edges with perfect grooves. One of my favorite parts of the knife (well, not the knife itself) is the sheath which is MOLLE compatible and is just amazing.
The knife is awesome, well weighted, and beautiful. I have yet to get it sharp as it didn't come "that" sharp. Better yet though, I actually was able to take advantage of the discount because they didn't give me a response to my email inquiry. So, $75 for a $150 knife that I could've only bought it for $120 elsewhere...
Awesome!
Next up is my Benchmade HK Ally. For $34 including shipping this is a pretty sweet deal. Glass breaker/punch on the bottom of the handle and the blade is AUS8 but sharpened very well. I like the serration pattern as well and the blade itself is really well designed. I like the thumb hole and the weight is nice. The entire knife wears almost as good as my titanium handled, Random Leek Kershaw. Overall... great knife and performance for the price.
I actually gave one to my best friend and now he wears it with his CRKT M16-12P model that I gave him two years ago.
Both knives are recommended...

P.S. Hope this (semi) review helps...
