After 10+years of searching for a ColdSteel SafeKeeper 1, I just got 2 in the mail! Thanks to bladeforums.com and to the 70chevelless for allowing me to aquire my dream knifes. These knifes are freakishly awesome and words can barely describe how happy I am as well as these two monsters. They really are everything I though they were and so much more and it's some what hard to even describe how fantastic these two badboys are in pictures. I really don't understand why coldsteel stop making these but here are some pictures. There are so very few pictures of these fairly rare knifes so I hope you will enjoy them (I'll be taking more later, these are just some I snapped up right away cuz I was so excited:)). IDK if I'll ever carry these knifes although I know I'll never sell them! I have them photographed against a 6-inch cold steel ti-lite which if you have ever seen it is rediculously huge as well as a spyderco civillian (definatly one of the scariest blades ever conceived) and a kershaw leek. In the last 2 pictures, you can see really how much larger a safekeeper 1 is compared to a safekeeper 2. Not only is it a bit wider but the lenght really sets it apart. Both safekeeper1's are razor sharp too... I dare you to find a better self-defence knife for someone which isn't trained in knife fighting! Just the look of them will probally strike fear into a would be attacker.

Nice pictures! Those are interesting knives. It's alot of fun to find knives that you've always wanted but for one reason or another missed picking up when they were being made. Good score!

I really should have picked up a few before they were discontinued as I followed them for a while just admiring them. By the time I was ready to buy them, I found out a week before they weren't making them anymore and over night nobody was stocking them or selling them. I've learned if you want something, buy it then or you may never see it for sale again! Impulse buying is the way to go as long as you got the cash to do so.
