  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

During the winter months these two knives become my most used, my Koster Nessie for making Fuzzy's for the woodstove and the Chopweiler for making kindling !

Nice homely pictures. Ive spent quite a bit of the time by the fire on a cold evening playing with knives or some wilderness project.

Is that firewood Douglas Fir? Looks a bit like it, but maybe not as coarse in the grain as the stuff we grow here.

Best wishes... Coote.

I think it may well be buddy !

Looks nice and cosy. I do like a real fire, especially in these cold times. Knives are nice as well.
