Although I love my crazy little peanut with a simple minimalistic setup..

I have the hardest time picking some days which one of these to take when I want to have a larger blade with me. I know there are lots of pictures out there.. However I couldn't find anything comparing these two staple slipjoints that everyone should have at one point or another. Here ar esome comparison shots and I think it is clear why I have such a hard time picking some days which one to put in my pocket. What are your work horse knives and do you find it difficult to pick one over the other?

One of them is a serious hard core knife (alox).. while the bone does a fantastic job at aging and gives a great grip. I do also love having the 3 blades for different purposes but sometimes I miss my screwdrivers..

I like the size of the baldes in the stockman and the awl on the SAK.. they do a great combination. I have one of these alox living in my backpack, because if I am outdoors then it is a simple choice on which one to take.

I have the same Case Stockman in amber bone, but mine has an awl.
I wouldn't consider it heavy duty compared to what I usually carry but it will do work.
