Wow! A long wait is almost over. I special ordered one 3 months ago. Just talked to Julie, it leaves today or tomorrow.

Let the nail biting begin.

The wait is always a killer!

I lucked into mine on a combination trade/sheath deal, the one with the spear/grass on the side, very nice.
The knife is smaller than I had first thought but it is just right for it's intended purpose!

Now that other new one....temptation is great!

I agree with Gary's statement about the knife being smaller than first thought, but it is just the right size for it's intended purpose!

You will be surprised at how often you use this "small" knife.

Love the Spear/Grass design too, it's so African. I got mine for a great price at a knife show. I wanted one but didn't want to spend that big w/o seeing it. Once I got my hands on one I couldn't pull my money out fast enough. As far as size, it's a true pocket knife. Does any one know if the Spear/Grass is the original (first release) design?

OUCH!......damn

Got my Umfaan for discrete carry in Church, Schools, etc. It is a workhorse for a little blade!

The design is actually "arrow through feathers" and was the 1999 standard design for the umfaan, I believe... I kept one and it is a favorite of mine too... awesome little blade and underated by many. Even with my big hands it is usable. I probably would not want it as my only but I definately plan on having them in my user collection

An Umfaan will definitely be my next Chris Reeve knife. I almost got one a couple of months ago, but decided on a Small Sebenza at the last minute. I mean, you HAVE to have a Sebenza first...don't you?

It would already be on order, but I'm going to Switzerland and I'm just going to HAVE to purchase a couple of Klotzli knives.
Even though Chris himself told me it would be safe to travel with my Small Sebenza, I've heard too many horror stories regarding confiscation at airports. There seems to be very few hard rules. If airport security wants to confiscate your pocket knife, they can! Anyway, while I'm away I can send my Sebenza back to the factory for the "silver contrast" engraving. I'll come home to a classy Sebenza! I've chosen the "solar wind" design. I had chosen the "trailing moon" design, however both my artistic wife and Bridget at CRK used the same word to describe the solar wind design..."STUNNING"! Women know about these things.
