My Upgraded Small Forge

This guy was my first attempt at a forge it started life as a mapp gas forge with the small burner you get from home depot. A while ago I got a 3/4" burner kit from Darren and finally got it together it looked like it would make a nice upgrade to the mapp gas forge so after some cutting and welding here is the result.

Just started up maybe a minute of run time at 6.5 psi

After about 4 minutes it seems to come up to temp quickly.

The forge it self started as an 02 bottle added 2" of Koa and coated it all with ITC-100 gives me a 4" x 11" chamber.

That is a really clean outfit and looks as if it would be a joy to work with. Nice set of hammers also. Fred

Thanks Fred the cart was free courtesy of Craigs List and the hammers came from a farrier who was getting out of the business.
