I found a few of my military items, and my trusty 110 was among them. The knife has gone through all sorts of hard use, and was even in a pack that got blown up. It's been through three One-Armed Bandits (one got knocked off in a vehicle wreck, the second one was lost in an explosion, the third one is on it). No safe queen here.

Date code is 1996...

Despite being run over by several HMMWVs and an APC, it still opens and closes perfectly fine...

Lock-up is still pretty good, but with a tad side-to-side play...

The factory sheath is long gone, but I found this one at a thrift store in 2003. I aged it artificially to match the knife...

The knife was looking lonely, so I picked up this 110 from the local knife shop about three weeks ago to keep it company. The newer-looking one is dated 1991, making it older than my user. The 1991 is pretty-much new, despite my poor photo-taking abilities...

Nice uhh... Engraving and artificial aging technique you got there.
I know of "This machine kills fascists", a sticker found on Woody Guthries guitar. However given google, "this machine kills commies" is some kinda modern video game reference.

Nice photos and "cool story bro!"

well damn, that 110 has seen a lot of love. It's impressive what those knives can handle.

I just picked up my 1st 110 last week. What an awesome knife. Really shows you what a good heat treat can do. I hope that one day mine has half the character yours does.
