Here are some pic's of my vacation project: Large and Small Regular Seb's, Vess Leather sheath, and gratuitous .45ACP cartridge. These were done with a rubdown with 220 grit paper after disassembly.

After disassembly, I placed new wet/dry sand paper over some paper towel on my bench. Next, I put the scales face down and rubbed them lightly on the paper. In the same direction, i.e. along the scale end-to-end. Probably 10-15 strokes. You need to do this carefully and stop when you get the look you want.

The locks were done after removing the blades and clip. A wood dowel was used to keep the lock level with the rest of the scale. For this, use a small square of sand paper and a finger. Take care to keep even pressure across the lock and stay away from the scews holding the handles. Take it light and slow.

Good Luck.
