This was quite fun to make. I had a "scandi style" carvingknife in mind, and this is what I came up with.
The blade is carbon damascus forged by Baudin.
The handle is made with reindeer antler, pewter and wood from an old friends rather big garden(will find out what kind later  )
Sheath is "db"-style with aluminium welt.

Blade: 80mm x 21mm x 2.5mm
Handle: 130mm

Please let me know what you think of my first try at a "scandi".

Nice -

You should join the Scandi knife forum on Knifeforums.com. Also
one on Britishblades.com. I'm sure they would all enjoy seeing you work.

Super Job! And great pics too.

Now lets have pics of that "scandi" fork to go along with the knife. And that scandi raindeer steak with both the knife and fork at work would make a good picture.
