My Very First Sebenza Has Arrived!!!!

My Large Sebenza 21 has arrived and holy cow its amazing!!! I can honestly say it has met my extremely high expectations. Super rock solid lockup and tight. Even my vault like Sage 2 which has no play in any direction I can get microscopic vibration side to side with some good hard wiggling but the Sebenza will have NONE of that. So rock solid I'm amazed that even someone as anal as me cannot find a single fit and finish flaw. Love the blade shape and stone washed finish. I have small hands and the large fits nicely in my hands with solid ergos. Not as good as my Sage 2 but still very good ergos and comfortable for what seems like a straight and slightly concave handle. Finally the SMOOTH and silent opening. Oh man was I blown away by how smooth the opening is. My other frame locks have this annoying scratchy sound when opening it and none of them are half as smooth as the Sebenza. I do have one concern and it's the tip of the blade. It just doesnt seem very robust no matter how I look at it. I hope I'm wrong. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and it has easily become my favorite knife and I havent even used it yet :D. I'll definitly be saving up for other CRK products :thumbup:

I remember that day. It was a good one. Had to drink a few beers to be able to click buy it now. Man they are the best. Have an alias2 which has not seen the light of day since the sebenza showed up. Do your self a favor and cut a bunch of things til it has marks. Can't let the beast sit in a drawer all day. Congrats.

Congrats, just got my first, a small lefty insingo today. Wow these knives are awesome... A few hours and im already trying to trade for a large:eek:, you guys didn't say it would happen this fast...:D
 
Mucho congratulations from the Texas CR fanbase! You want to fall more in love with the knife? Take it apart a few times and clean & lube it. Then look at all precisions parts and the way they fit together so perfectly and so simply. It's like titanium crack. Very addictive, to the detriment of one's pocketbook.
