Good Morning and shalom,
I am looking forward to my first Trident. The only downside is the dealer cannot supply SOG sheath. What they did show me was a sheath that was very well used and made for a knife made in Spain. But it does fit the Trident. The price for the Trident is approximately $404.75. I am waiting for the distributor in Israel to get back to me to find out if this is the current price.

Is the SOG sheath all that important? or should I appreciate the beauty of the Tridant alone?

Shalom, Yitzchak Ernst

Well that's a fine knife you've picked up for yourself.
And its absolutely alright NOT TO USE your bowie (for now at least).
Especially since its far too sweet for a usin' knife ;-)
But, I am sure that when the time comes, you will know the full power of the Trident!

I was at the other forums on a somewhat similar topic (BobbyB: you might what to get back over there)

These boys here, were kind enough to share their collection in a snap shot

As you can see if you don't intend to use your blade. A fine walnut case would do fine. In fact that was how the original Flagship Bowie started out way back in the earliest of years. Ahh, the 20th century. I miss it already.

Congrats!!! That is one awesome knife, easily describable as the flagship of the SOG line. Ouch on the price though. My local dealer has one for $466 cough cough.

The Trident is indeed a beautiful knife! It is elegant in black and satin!!! The faceted tip just hints of purpose...;)

As for the sheath: it contains a sharpening stone. If you need one, SOG does sell the sheaths...:D

Krizzard: where DO you get your info???

The info is there for the taking :-)

Is this your little off spring I see ??
