I've carried various incarnations of the 54mm Vic. Keychain knives on my key rings for a long time, they're so ubiquitous I forget I'm carrying them.

While I send in my Minichamp for a new set of scales (I hope they make StayGlow scales with the pen scale) I've switched to a red Celidor Manager, and it's actually a pretty nice little knife, sort of a Diet Minichamp

Today, it earned the right to ride in my RF watch pocket with my Chestnut CV Peanut, why, you might ask?

Well, I discovered how useful that mini Philips driver is, I was taking apart a Lexmark T650n laser printer as I needed its front panel circuit board, and there was a #2 Philips screw that none of my regular screwdrivers could reach, all too long to fit, the Manager's driver was a perfect fit, gripped strongly, and easily removed the screw

Clearly, I had underestimated this diminutive tool. So, now it rides proudly with my Peanut

The other tools are just a bonus and enhance the utility of my other EDC knives, the aforementioned Peanut, and a Vic. Farmer

Hmm, iPhone is being obstinate now, will post more later

I love my Vic Manager!! Over the weekend, I needed to pull some hard drives out of some very old computers but couldn't find a screwdriver. Vic Manager to the rescue!!

I carried a Manager for years on my keychain & every tool is well designed and useful. It's currently off my keychain again. I go from carrying it to removing it from my keychain periodically to minimize the size of my keychain. With a smaller keychain, it's more comfortable to carry other knives in the same pocket. I've also used a Swiss Bianco Alox Rambler at times which provide the same main tools, but loses the pen & tweezers.

A few months ago I upgraded from my tired and battered SAK Classic to a Manager. Mostly for the pen, scissors, and small screwdriver. Like the little Classic it was more tool than knife, but handy to have the extra blade around, especially if you needed to open a package and didn't want to gum up your knife.

Right now mine rides in a pouch on the belt with a SAK Alox Farmer, and some other gear. Since I don't carry a pen anymore as I did when I was working, it's very handy to have that little pen on there.
