Of all the "tactical"(REKAT, MT, MOD, AL MAR, etc.) folders I own, always end up carrying my Victorinox Champion (has everything but the kitchen sink) knife in my pocket and and Emerson La Griffe under my shirt. I have to say that this combo seems to suit me fine. The Champion has almost all
the tools I need for use outdoors and in the workplace. The La Griffe is also handy in those same places. And coupled with my NAA Black Widow, this knives/firearm combo makes a potent, lightweight, and very discreet combo. Don't you agree?

Do any other forumites out there despite having all the new "ultra strong lock", carbon fiber handled, OO7 endorsed, hi-tech folders, find themselves going back to the simple SAK and/or small fixed blade combo? Let me know.

Also, I'd like to thank everyone on the forums for helping me expand my knowledge about edged tools. Everytime I check this place out I learn something new. I love this place!!!

At the moment, my standard combo is a Bruce Evans 4" (qualifies as "small" for me)damascus skinner fixed blade carried IWB, and a SAK in some pocket or fanny pack.
I also carried Emerson and Fred Perrin Griffes, I like the compact but potent design (for a defensive blade).

No matter what else I carry or where I go I carry the SAK huntsman. I have on with black ,one with red and ,one with WHITE handles.Yesterday I picked up another huntsman with (blue)saphire handles. Man is that thing cool. But,anyway no matter where or,when I am I have a SAK on me.

I carry a Gerber Multitool at work, for outdoor activities I use a Steiner folder or a Muela spanish knife as utility blades, but my Victorinox Explorer with black handles has been everyday -in every situation- with me since 9 years ago.
