Wow, that's interesting. I get a 403 error, with access to destination gopher denied by the Cyber Patrol!

That sounds bad.

Hey Joel,
Nice to see someone with 4 kids. I do as well, except I have 3 boys and 1 girl.

People stare at my wife and I whenever we are out at a restaurant or similar place. As a matter of fact, you should have seen everybody's face when we boarded out flight to Orlando 2 weeks ago.

Stinkin' neo-facists.

Hey! I had my first negative comment on my page! I sent it to a girl I went to high school with and she showed it to her brother in law (let's just say he's in a minority, although in the part of Texas he is in, he's really in a majority). He said, "What is this guy? A white supremist?"

She relayed the message to me to which I replied, "Tell your brother in law that he's an idiot. How could anyone think I was a white supremist by this site?"

She said that he had watched a documentary a few nights before and a "white supremist" had used the word "sheeple" in describing people who go along with whatever the government tells them and who won't fight for their beliefs.

"I thought it was a good word." I said

She replied, "Well, my brother in law thinks that since you are against the government, you are a type of supremist."

Here's the letter I wrote:

First of all, tell your brother in law that I apologize for calling him an idiot. I ASSUMED that the conclusion that I might be a white supremist (Gosh, I'm still laughing!), was based soley upon the content of my page. I did not realize that he had heard the word "Sheeple" used by someone who was a white supremist. (Even if it was, it's a great word!)

From what I've seen it's just a term for people who won't fight for anything. They don't believe in anything. They do what they are told because they think some "higher authority" knows what's best for them. They "go along to get along." Personal freedom doesn't mean anything to them as long as they have their "security."

I did a keyword search for "Sheeple" and found the following:
www.sheeple.com http://www.sheeplechasers.org/ir/ir.html

From what I can see, these organizations are pointing out things that the government is doing wrong. Including racism in the government!

There are many people who don't like aspects of the government. Myself included. I like to think that I am smart, sane, and safe enough to make decisions for myself and family. I don't feel that this makes me any type of supremist or racist.

I do not like what Bill Clinton has done and stood for. I do not like the BATF. I do not like to hear that an FBI sniper shot and killed an unarmed woman with a baby in her arms. I do not like to see a bunch of weirdo wacko cult members burned alive in their Waco compound because someone "THOUGHT THEY MIGHT HAVE" illegal machine guns. Especially when the warrant could have been served on their leader during one of his daily walks when he was ALONE.

We refer to the men who fought an opressive government over 200 years ago as "Patriots." They didn't have to fight and die. They could have had all the security they needed if they would have just gone along with the Brits, paid their high taxes, and been good little subjects. But they wanted more than that. So do I. What does that make me?

Benjamin Franklin said it well: He who would sacrifice liberty for security deserves neither.

But that's just my opinion.

Later gator!

Pretty fancy website.

I won't hold that against you, though.

I'll give you a link if I remember at my next update.
