I'm finally posting pictures of my wedding knife that was made by Joe Mandt (jdm61).

A fine knife should always be dressed in the best leather so this one came complete with a Paul Long sheath.

All of these pics were taken on my wedding day. The photographer wanted to take some artsy pics with the rings and the knife but first asked..."is it sharp?"

My response was "drop it and you'll find out".....said with a smile of course. :p

Congratulations, and nice choice on the cake knife.

It's good to know I'm not the only one who likes the idea of cutting the cake with a large bowie.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Joe did a great job and is easy to work with. I ordered the knife specifically for the wedding so this is one is now a family heirloom. I saw "wedding cake knife" on the list of things to do prior to the wedding and very enthusiastically said "I got that". I never pass up a knife buying opportunity.
