Just got back from a wonderful, relaxful weekend at the lake. A little R&R really did me some good.
Thought I'd share a few pics of the festivities. Enjoy.
Packed up the truck Saturday morning.
It was a lot of stuff. And my wife stuffed her camry too!!
Got everything we need and more.
Hitched up the boat and hit the road.
Not a bad little camp site.
The Muskox got to do some wood processing and preformed admirably.
At Dinner time the BK-2 helped out with the potatoes. First time using it for food prep.
It was awesome! I'm going to start using it around the kitchen more often!
Put the boat in the water and my 2 yr old little Princess wanted to drive us out.
I told her she could drive it later. That made her happy.
I asked her to scout out a good place to start fishing.
Got the poles in the water. My very expensive rod and reel and her Barbie pole.
Who's going to catch the first fish...?
You guessed it. The Barbie pole goes down first!
Trusty BK-2 on my hip.
After a few hours fishing she was ready for a little nap.
A little time to kick back and enjoy the scenery.
Shortly after that photo, my battery died and we had to get towed to shore. lol.
I had my BK-11 around my neck all weekend. Thrillbilly's Kydex held it tight.
All in all we had an excellent time.
Nice and relaxing, but I'm glad to be home.
Looking forward to a good nights sleep!
Hope you all had a good weekend too!
