Over the last two months you guys have given me great gear advice for this trip. I would post my pictures but my new digital camera is in the bottom of the red river(long story). I learned quite a bit like all plans change. We were supposed to leave from spanish fort. We blew a tire in OKC on the way down. Getting there several hours behind schedule. We decided to put in at the Interstate bridge at Gainesville. We definitely had a whole bunch of fun and thank you gentlemen for you hints, tips, and suggestions. They were very helpful.

If you want to keep stuff in a boat tie it to you or the boat.More than one company makes waterproof cameras !Glad you had lots of fun !!

I did figure out that a BK-11 is probably the handiest knife on earth for use in the boat. The BK-7 can function as a light ax. The Kershaw JYD2 is a hell of a folder for 50 dollars (the UPS man came right before we left). The final lesson is you never have enough beef jerky for 6 grown men, and mike's beef jerky is awesome.
