I really enjoy this knife. It performs much "bigger" than it actually is. I have carved spoons, processed firewood, made marshmallow sticks for smores, and just about any other cutting task you can imagine. After squaring the spine, it throws good sparks from a fire steel, and the handle is comfortable for extended whittling. One of my overall favorites. I generally carry it in a hip sheath I borrowed from one of my Blind Horses, and it rides high and secure.

Looking good. The 17 is my favorite tweener. I just stropped mine last night and got amazing hair shaving result.

It's pretty much my favorite as well. I keep coming back to it for most everything I need a knife for.

Hey man I was wondering what blind horse knife sheath that is? I have been looking for a leather sheath for my becker 17 for a while now and still haven't found one. That one looks like it fits superbly. Thanks
