I've had my victorinox Gardner for a long time and I live it, but the back of one of the handle scales got messed up and I really didn't like it that way, so I decided to modify it slightly.
Here's what I came up with
I cut off the plastic and protruding aluminium spacer then turned the protruding end of the back spring into a Flathead screwdriver. It works fairly well for screws that aren't too tight, and I thank it's better to have something on the end instead of just a messed up handle scale .

Good idea. Knives have been factory made like that on purpose.

Thanks, it's a great knife and I love it, but what I really want is either a new one in green, or their folding twine knife ( which seems to be the same knife at the same price, but with a lanyard loop )

Interesting idea. As mentioned, the O Barnett Plier knife and several others had a screwdriver built in.
