Hi Everyone,

I took a picture of my small collection for another forum, and thought I'd post it here too for your viewing delight. Here they are:

HTM Madd Maxx 5.5 on top (Assisted)

Then from left to right:
Extrema Ratio Black Talon
Extrema Ratio Nemesis
Extrema Ratio MF2
Extrema Ratio MF3 Ingredior Tanto
Boker Applegate Folding Dagger
Gerber Applegate Combat Folder

Coldsteel Ti-lite 6" on the bottom

Enjoy!! :)

I love that HTM Madd Maxx. Can you give us a little more info on it? Is it light? Heavy? Are the ergos comfortable in hand? Is the inlay useful for grippiness?

I do like Extremas!! How did you know?? :)

The Madd Maxx is a beauty, and is my grail. I wanted one for a LONG time, and then an award at work made it a reality. I don't carry it much, as it is big and heavy. Quality is first rate, and this is the sharpest knife I have ever owned. The spring opens it fast and with a loud THUNK. The first time my wife opened it, the kick from the spring caused it to jump out of her hand and land on the floor. The CF insert is beautifully machined and does aid the grip (the titanium scales are a tad slippery). Here's a couple more pics for you... :)

Packohotdogs, you are making me bump up the Madd Maxx on my things to get list. For some reason I completely forgot how much I wanted one.

Wow, pics even. You spoil us. :p

I love the Madd Maxx. One of the 4-inchers is definitely on my Christmas list this year...except that you can only be naughty if you're carrying around one of those things. How's the lock-up? Does it sit deep from the beginning, or does it start early and work its way over with wear?

And is that a Jericho 941 I spy next to your Madd Maxx in the second photo? :D

It is indeed a Jericho, well, "Baby Eagle". It is now my only 9mm. I love it.

The lock up on the Maxx was VERY stiff out of the box. It locked very deep, and was rather hard to unlock at first. With time, it loosened a little. I actually ended up rubbing the top of the lock-up bar with a silicon cloth to lube it a little. Its good to go now.

Packofhotdogs, nice collection!

How do you like that Boker AFD? I have been looking for one forever, but haven't found one.

It is a simply wonderful knife. I picked mine up at BladeHQ last november. It is actually the same one pictured on their site, as it has the same serial #. Very well engineered/built and materials and finish are first rate. The aluminum handle has an amazing texture and the S60V blade is very sharp. The lock up is rock solid, but very easily released. The blade pivots on copper and teflon washers and is buttery smooth. It can very easily be opened with one finger and no wrist "flick". Finally I mounted the clip for tip up carry, and now the hilt doubles as a wave feature when it leaves my pocket. All in all a wonderful knife that I will never get rid of. Some more porn for ya...

P.S. I am going to take the knife to my fav knife store to get them to sharpen the top edge. I found out this is legal in MD to do, and this is what Applegate folders are designed for as the blade folds completely into the handle. I'll post pics once its complete.
