I woke up on my birthday, not even remembering that it was today - I had set the alarm, because I had two early appointments. My wife's first words reminded me, and before I got out of bed, both of my kids reminded me again. It is indescribable to have a family that loves you.

I had a present waiting for me in the living room. I love it. The funny part was that my wife apologized for not being able to get me a "Ray Laconico folder." I had to laugh, because she knows Ray by name, and many of you as well. Wives that know knife makers by name are cool in my book. She's cool anyway - but she notched up this morning, again.

Here's to the women who support their men, and vice-verse.
