My wife now knows a nice knife. Oops

I've been buying nicer knives for about 8 years now. My wife doesn't quite understand my habits, but puts up with them as long as I don't go nuts. This turned into a problem however when she decided that we need to buy her brother a knife for Christmas. He's recently started hanging out in the woods in Colorado, so she thought it'd be a nice gift. Not a problem, I agree. So I offer up some ESEE, maybe a nice Scrapyard. She looks at them, decide they're "not nice enough," and demands I find him a good Busse.
Now, my brother is law is a nice guy. Not sure he's worth spending that much on for Christmas though (we usually get him a $20 shirt or something). But, despite my efforts to point her toward a perfectly good knife at a fraction of the cost she remains unconvinced that a lesser knife will do. So a Busse has been purchased, now I need to get a sheath for it. On one hand I'm proud of my wife for appreciating good knives (she has a few I've bought her), but I really hope she doesn't want to get one for her other brother or father next year.

If he's not really a knife guy, that sure seems like an extragavant gift! I would worry that it would not be fully appreciated or cared for. Your ESEE and Scrapyard suggestions seemed pretty reasonable.

Now how can I get on your wife's Christmas list?
