I just thought I'd share. I recently bought a Vantage Force Select tan/serrated, here off of the forum; and it's already lost. I had the thing for 2 whole days, handed it to my wife, and haven't seen it since. I've recently been spoiled by the KAI ZT line, but thought I'd pick up a cheaper manual flipper...and I liked it...aparently so did my wife, lol. I don't mind a bit...I hope to see it clipped in her pocket for edc sometime soon.

The experience has opened my mind to considering further BUCK purchases, other than 110's and such. If only to replace what's gone MIA, lol.

The nice thing about Vantages is they don't cost so much to replace. Welcome to Buck knives. I like 'em.

I purchased my wife a Vantage md. 340 the smaller one and she really likes carrying and using it. She likes the wider blade and handle with blue paperstone. It came very sharp from the factory. DM

After reading so much about QC issues I was pretty unsure about the knife; until it arrived. It came incredibly sharp out of the box, with a great overall blade design and execution (even grinds, straightness, etc). I was actually making a list of improvements I was going to attempt (drilling out and replacing the pivot with a larger one, adding polished PB washers, replacing the scales with some canvas micarta, etc). I did absolutely LOVE the blade, but most of the rest I thought of improvements for.

Anyway, I'm going to wait and see if the wife actually uses the thing or even just carries it...but this might be the beginning of a beautiful new $ pit, lol. *I'm not sure if the $ pit statement applies to the wife or the hobby; maybe both, lol.

My Vantage Force Pro was perfect straight out of the box. It has quickly become one of my favorite EDCs.
