Wife has been a real ''axe/hatchet magnet'', she's found me a nice HB hatchet, like new for 3 dollars, still had some of the paper on the hatchet head. Then, she found a couple of Collins axes. Another double bit. Then the other day she calls me from a yard sale. She say's they have a axe, and another axe with 2 blades (cruiser double bit) so i ask how much 2 dollars for the single bit, 3 for the double bit. I tell her to by both, since she told me there was some writing on the double bit. Then, i needed a pitchfork, to replace my 75 year old one she found at another yard sale. So, same yard sale that the axes were, they have 3 pitchforks. One was a short spading fork, one was a 4 tine, with a slightly bent tine or 2, then a 6 tine. I asked how the 6 tine looked, good handle, etc, ect, Yes, looks almost like new she replied. So, bottom line, the single bit ended up being a craftsman, older axe, the double bit is marked, Zenith cold test, Marshall wells it has a horse shoe type emblem with a star in the top of the open horse shoe type emblem. The 6 tine fork, was made in Autria and very heavy duty, like new, it was 7.00!!
What a woman!!! Did she do good??

rolling eyes, loll. Can some one give me an idea of the age of the Zenith cruiser please, thanks, just call me '' a lucky guy''
I should add, the Zenith cruiser does NOT have what i call a Flaming star, just a single star above the open horse shoe type emblem
