First off, let me introduce myself..I am John...I recently bought an Old Timer 125OT from a guy that needed gas money..(10bucks) and it set into motion a series of purchases that has just ended up with me getting the Buck 110BY2 25th anniversary Yellowhorse knife......so needless to say...as my bank account dwindles, my wife thinks I am getting more and more crazy...I don't see this sickness ending anytime soon.......well. that's all for now...I suppose...thanks for listening....John

You think you like your 110? You should also get a Buck 112. Awesome knife!

Also, it's alot easier if you hide any future knife buying episodes from the wife. :D Although it's difficult to explain the check register and credit card bill...that's why I use Postal Money orders!

You might be a knife knut if your wife, children and friends have an inability to understand why you seem to like knives so much, and are willing to pay such "high prices" for them.

To some people, the only knives that anyone needs inhabit the kitchen drawer or the dining table, and certainly do not reside in your pocket and/or on your belt.

..or in a display case, or in a safe, or in a shoe box under the bed. The same people probably have other hobbies, but : " If I have to explain it to you; you wouldn't understand".

Welcome John !

I share your afliction , Sometimes I just can't not buy that knife

Until I found BF, I thought I was nuts, you guys make me feel "normal".

Thanks All....yep, I now make special trips to the antique shops and pawn shops.....almost as if I am in a trance....drawn there uncontrollably...looking at every crappy knife, hoping for that one great find. I am really enjoying getting hooked on this hobby..I havn't had anything new come into my life for a long time. I am just going to have to control those "BIG" purchases. Although I am already going through the house figuring out what I can sell so I can get more "knife" money! peace, John

hay you are not alone! i also look for things to put in the wife's yard sale for the extra over what i allow for hobby money! even to thining the 'herd' of bucks and selling duplitcates or others on ebay to up grade to new ones i want more then what i have!!! i cant tell you were it all ends... maby some of the old timers can... ;)
