I was at the Exchange in West Point yesterday, and I noticed they had beefed up their knife selection a bit since the last time I was there. They had some Enduras and Dragonflies, some Blackouts, Scallions and Chives. Good prices on all. A whole batch of SRK's for $50 each. Buck 110's packaged together with some kind of smaller cheapie Buck lockback in a clamshell for all of $26, and oddly enough other 110's without the extra free knife for $29. A slew of disposable Gerber crap. Olive Drab black blade combo edge Grippies for something like $54. Although I had $60 sitting in my pocket, I walked out with NOTHING!!! ...because I have a Krein custom coming and I figured I should save my money. Oh this waiting game, it wears me down bit by bit.

(If there was a Delica or a PE Grippy, I would have probably succumbed. :D )

I've been noticing PX's stocking up a lot lately too. The BX on the afb here sells leatherman, benchmade, spyderco, and of course the normal stuff all places sell. Only problem is, all combo edge. Way to ruin to a good price eh?

Your willpower is legendary because you saved knife money in order to buy...a knife? :D

I'm the exact opposite. I was saving money for a knife show that starts on saturday and managed to blow it all at another show (where I was supossed to be working!!!).

I'm happy, though, since I got seven great customs! Being broke isn't that bad if you have shiny new toys.

A friend of mine wants me to come on base to buy some knives at the PX with him. What, I need to hold his hand? I'd love to take a look though.
