Had a bit of yard work to do today, so i got to play with some of my gear.
I took some pics of my woods blades. The One Hand Trekker is brand new. I like it. More on that below.
Left to right. Victorinox OHT, Izula, RC-3, Mora 911, Florian folding saw.
Joining them in this pic, a Cold Steel Trail Hawk
My Maxpedition 'woodsbumming' kit.
The job I was doing was taking down a wire fence.
I found application for several items in my EDC and woods kits.
My little widgy bar really proved itself as a viable tool.
Some of the little hook tabs were bent over making it impossible to free the wire.
Option 1: use the widgy bar as a pry tool and tap it in, therebye bending the tab further open.
Option 2: Wirebreaker!
Put the wire in the notch and twist several times.
Success!
Oh look, I found a snack! jk, this is not Man vs Wild.
I like these little toads, they're cute. They panic when you first pick them up, but after a minute or two they calm down and will stay on your hand indefinitely.
