i said i would post a few pictures so here they are still want lots of stuff but im getting there for now wish list is kiln and mill just need a little more time

he biggest thing missing is the 4 inches layer of used belts on the floor, and the foot thick pile of wood/metal/junk piled up on the bench.
Good start to your shop, keep at it.

That's about the same setup I started with. :D And that's including the empty cases of Bud in the back corner. :D

bladsmth funny you bring up all the junk on the bench its my old mans bench and i made him clear the thing off so i had room to set up i have the honor of making all the little things and keeping everything running here at my "real" job

IG thats the old mans bud i dont drink that type any more its yuengling at home and micro brew when im out so many good beers to try so little time

My next project is cleaning my "shop." What an s-hole my place is! I have, literally, a foot tall pile of crap covering my entire workbench. I dig, find what I need, use it, dig some more. It's SOOOO aggravating. This is how I've been my whole life, though, so I might just be stuck with it.

My only word of advice would be to move your buffer away from the grinders. Otherwise you get metal chips and dust in your buffing wheel and it becomes more of a sander than a buffer!

thanks for the buffer tip i have made more room so it will be moved
the plan is getting felt buffs one for green and one for white

For what it's worth I just cover my buffers with plastic grocery bags; keeps the crap off em - as long as I remember to keep them covered... Store your compound the same way or it'll get funky too. No need to ask how I might know this.

I love these threads, they relieve the guilt and I can go a while longer without cleaning up the toxic waste facility in my shop.
