My Philosophy of Knife Making is to make tools that help Knife Making more simple and to archieving the best result.

Being in the country where Knife Making Supporting Industries are ont adequate and aiming for best performing Knife really force me for huge investment amount compare to the productivities and sale value.
But I love perfection though it hurts my pocket sometimes.:D

Welcome Dick! I watched both of your video's. Your shop has some very modern pieces of equipment, and your knives look great. I appreciated you showing how you test them. The Bamboo knives looks like a very nice performing knife. I think you will sell many knives here.:)

Thank you very much David.
My Bamboo Knife is kind of trading between durability (impact resistance) and greater bite to the chopping action.
I have seen a lot of great knife here that doing very very well in this matter but somehow may not do well in cutting wood in kind of horizontal direction.

When we successed R&D for L6 Steel (Double Temper) as the blade is very tough, we decided to make our Bamboo Knife with thin Zero (convec) Edge and we realized that the blade can stand a very strong impact.
Thin blade really chop well with very deep cut in every chopping.

I am not sure if my knife will impress the international users but as in the rainy forrest and how our natives use the knifem my blades really impressed them.

Again, thanks for David for the welcome and implentation.

I suggest you post some of your knifes in the for sale section, Dick. It would be good to see how they are received.

Please accept my sincere thanks.
Thanks for the knid advise.
To come in here and make sales is new to me.

I am now making another VDO Presentation on the Knife Making Process which perhaps will take about almost a month.
The VDO will include the full test.
I think it is the most fare thing that customer see through our process and performance.

My VDO will include Blade Making, Heat Treatment and also our Wood Stabilization.
We have complete turn key machine and equipment because it is not easy to get supplies in Thailand.
All these facilities took me few years and lots of investment to build up because you know ths a lot of tool for knife makers are not easily to find just exactly suitable ones.

I thank you for talking to me.

Dick those 2 knives you posted pictures of are really nice. I'm sure knives like that will sell quick around here.

Dick, Blade Forums has quite a few different sub-forums, each of which has a specific purpose. For instance, The Shoptalk forums is for knife makers to come to ask questions regarding technical problems they may have. There is a forums devoted to Swords, and to Custom knives, and well, so on and so on.:) It will take you some time to get familiar with all the forums, but for your purposes, I suggest you first get familiar with Shoptalk, and with the Customs forums, as well as the sales forum. If you have any questions, I will be happy to help out when I can.

Excellent to hear, Dick. After experiments, I also found that a thin blade, with a slightly convex zero grind, were very tough and cut well (when used for short chopping swords).

Your knives look great! :]

Very cool shop Dick and your knives look awsome and seem to perform well!! Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing, glad to have you here my friend!

Mecha .. Ballew and everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcome.

The following is to show how our natives using Bushcraft Knife.
Years back our bushcraft knives were different and they were very thick and heavy.
All natives refused to use our knives before.

Only now that we have the laest version then they love to use them.
The following will show some idea how they use knives and why we came out with this Bamboo Knife design.

Years back, we only specialized in D2 Steel.
Due to the way they use use knives, we decided that we must go for the steel that bendable.
Bamboo knife has very thin geometry as compare to the size and how strong impact the long knife perform.
The is only approach is to have correct choice of steel and correct heat treatment in order to have the knife for this style use.
