Funny you should post this. I just got my Vex I bought from another user. I am usually exceptionally careful while handling my knives. Somehow, just in the process of admiring it, I managed to shave off half of one of my fingerprints. I looked at my finger in amazement, waiting for the blood to come, but I had just managed to shave off a few layers of skin. Shorty thereafter, I lightly brushed the tip against my skin, only to notice a new minutes later I was bleeding from a micron-sized incision.

Whoever does the sharpening at Swamp Rat is a beast, period. You could remove a spleen with this thing. lol!

All this cutting, I figured I'd share my most recent slice... I damn near took off the tip of my right pinky! I managed to stitch it up myself (with orange thread no less ...lol ;)) but today at work the stitches came un-done and I had to get it done "properly" (meaning I left work, and did it again myself ;))

It weird because I have no idea how it happened. All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain, and my whole hand was covered in blood. Ahh... I suppose it's par for the course :D

when I cut the tip of my thumb nearly off in a kitchen incident. I was going to go for the superglue. The doc told me that plain old super flue can cause sarcoma's and they have a similar special adhesive that is medical grade.
