This is my 8 year old boys knife, hadn't seen it for a while, he brought it to me tonight to sharpen 'cause he couldn't cut something with it. At first I was a little concerned at the condition of the blade, but then I realized his little fingerprints were on it and combined with the patina that had developed...I just tried to appreciate the moment. 10 minutes on coarse/fine DMT returned it to push cutting/hair shaving.
