I received the Zero Tolerance ZT 0200 folder that 'joejeweler" sent to me as a gift, and along with a BIG THANK-YOU!! to Joe for this WONDERFUL gift, all I can really say is...WOW!!...What an impressive folder!! It's large, heavy, and SOLID...Just PERFECT!!

This is now my all-time favorite folder...And to think that I actually OWN it is amazing to me. I think that this is actually the first folder that I've owned where I can't find ANYTHING about it that I'd change...It is THAT perfect!...

I have a feeling that I'll be packing this one around in my hand, and not able to put it down for quite awhile today.:D.

What's not to LOVE,.....they're a great "little" folder! ;) Enjoy, and i'd say you can now be considered,.....spoiled!

BTW,.....i love carrying mine inside my black jeans upper pant lip,......off to the right side slanted in a bit. Clip is hidden under my belt, and with a black shirt pulled up a bit, the flap created covers over the top of the knife.....

.....voila,......totaly hidden carry!

As i recall you're a lefty,.....so you may be changing the clip position,....

Yes, I am a "lefty", and I have already changed the clip to tip-up, left-side carry...Totally PERFECT, as this is the first folder I've owned that feels this solid and this "right"!!...

Sounds like you got a real winner Dann, congrats. And "good on ya" Joe for the gesture, it really makes one feel good about the knife community.

Well, I've owned this ZT 0200 for a few hours now, and I still can't find ANYTHING wrong with it or anything that I'd want to change about it. This is truely a very impressive folder, and is really what I'd call "a man's knife"....Not one for the feeble or faint of heart. My wife is 1/2 afraid of it, and I swear that I've seen it move on its' own a couple times as it sits on the coffee table, resting between "play times"..:D..

I'd REALLY like to see ZT come out with a "Mini" version of the 0200...Maybe with a 2 & 7/8th inch blade, so it would make it under the "3 inch or shorter" blade limits imposed by some cities & locations.

As of today, the ZT 0200 and my Mini-Cyclone are my pair of EDC's.

As i mentioned before in another thread,.....i'd think an under 3" ZT 0200 would be a popular seller,......for the reason you mentioned and would be a better EDC for the ladies. More "pocketable" also for a fishing/hunting knife, and as a back up to the "Big One".

....just gotta have the heft and no compromise quality feel & performance.

.............and in a smaller version the skeletonized liners may not be necessary to keep the weight down!:D

BTW Dann,.....did you check your PM?

Congrats on the 200 gman! Any knife that'll beat the Cyclone as your all time favorite after only a few minutes, is a knife I obviously need to get!

Congrats to Joe for being such a great person!

Joe or anybody else who hs one - where have you seen the best prices for these? I'd love to see some sites with good prices on them. Googling the words "Zero Tolerance ZT0200 doesn't return much.

The best price i've found so far was from a forum member. (bigmark408) I bought (3) ZT 0200 from him at $120 each delivered! Here is a link to the items, and Mark was very helpful:

My larger lot i purchased from an internet dealer ( www.knifedealsplus.com ) at about $128 each plus shipping. Jeff was great there also,...and a few dollars either way doesn't really matter much,..............

......spread out over a lifetime of use! :)

glockman, have you ever owned a sebenza? how does it feel compared to it? :)

congrats by the way. :D

I haven't owned a sebenza either,........didn't even know what one looked like until i went over to the CR site and there are some great pics of the various sizes in one thread.

From what i can "see",......the largest model is about 8 1/4 inches long,......my ZT 0200 about 8 3/4 inches. The blade on the sebenza appears a bit thinner also.

For the military, police, emt, and other jobs that someone like me may use them for that might require a no-slip grip,.......the ZT G10 scales are much preferred over the smooth titanium sebenza scales,.....IMO. Picture a bloody knife or used in "harsh" conditions,......the ZT 0200 is NOT going to go anywhere......

.........and if we compare price,....well,......i'm not gonna even go there! ;) After holding a ZT 0200 most anyone will wonder how they can sell so reasonable,.......i still haven't figured it out!

Basically the ZT 0200 is a workhorse,....trust your life to getting the job done,.......energyzer-bunny kind of a knife on steroids! :D

.............and do you really want to use your sebenza in "harsh" conditions? ;)

congrats by the way. :D

Between the craze of the ZT200, SG2 junkyard dog, and ZDP mini cyclone... I think my wallett will be hating on me very soon. :D

Yes, many yeas ago I did own a (Classic) Sebenza that I received in a trade, and to be totally honest, I wasn't all THAT impressed with it (esp. for the price that they sell for). Sure the Sebenza is glass smooth, and locks up solidly, but honestly, the ZT- 0200 really has nothing to be ashamed about, put next to a Sebenza...And at less than 1/2 the price.

Well, I like my ZT 0200 so much, that I went and put 3 of my Kershaw folders up for trade for another ZT 0200...This time, I'm looking for the part serrated version, so I'll have a "pair" of this perfect folder.:D.

They are addictive aren't they?! I'm a little late, but congrats G-man on the ZT0200! And Joe, you are just the essence of what this board community is about, GOOD JOB! I must admit I've been thinking about getting another ZT0200 myself. I'll go for another plain edge, although I don't guess I would turn down the part serrated if it was the only available.:)

As far as the question of how a Sebenza compares to the 0200, I'm not sure it is fair to do so. To me the Sebenza stands as the finest made, semi-production, folder available. This is a knife that Chris Reeve has been making, and perfecting over the past decade or more. With that kind of attention it should be what it is, and it is!:D The ZT0200 is a knife that cost 1/3rd the price of a standard large Sebenza, but offers FAR more than 1/3rd the performance. My first response to opening the box on my 0200 was to think, "WOW, how can Kershaw bring such a well engineered, custom designed, with top flite materials, knife to the market place for such a LOW price?" Blew me away!:thumbup: As I've said before, it seems like the ZT0200 is another example of Kershaws commitment to excellence at a working mans price!:thumbup::thumbup:
